Babies can't talk

Hi!!!

Today I would like to share with you a situation I lived in my family not long ago... My little cousin Valeria, who is 4 years old, was sad because she thought that her cousin Carlos was angry with her - Carlos was all the time crying-. Then Valeria's brother, who is 4 years old too, explain how he thought babies start talking...

It was such a lovely moment that I wanted to share with you... I am going to take advantage of this situation to present you StoryboardThat. With this tool you can create a comic to represent any situation that you want to introduce to your students or that you want to work with them...

This tool is very easy to use. You only have to pull what you need inside your strip and the same page give you different options to personalize the characters, the scenes or the bubbles...
Just to say something negative... I didn´t like that this page only give you the option of using three sketches, but if you need more you could create different strips and put them together... In my case I could manage with only three of them 馃槈

I hope you like the one I have created to show you this tool!

Content Curation

Hello over there!!

If you are reading this entry it is because you are interested in learning how we can keep some pages and resources that you find all over the Internet.

As teachers, we can find plenty of useful things on the Internet that we want to keep for other moment or for the future and use it with our students at any point.

For that purpose, there are few tools such as Pinterest, Symbaloo, Pearltrees or List.ly. In this case, I have choosen Pinterest for collecting images, activities and videos for my classes.

For me Pinterest is a great tool that allows you to keep videos from youtube, images from other users, etc. very easily and it is very visual.

Here I share with you the folder that I have created with some resources for my Science class for Primary Education. As you can see there are different kind of activities that you can easily modify for different the grades of the stage.

See you soon!!

Public Domain & Image Attribution

PUBLIC DOMAIN& IMAGE ATTRIBUTION

Hello!!! I hope you all are ok!

Today I am going to talk about copyright.

When we have a blog like this and we want to publish photos, images, etc. it is really important to attribute the picture to the owner or creator of it. If we publish something that is ours, we would like to get the merit of it, isn't it?

The first thing we should do if we want to share our work is to register our blog as a public domain! For that, you can use this page where you have different options to do so. In that link also you can find everything you need to know about public domain and its different options.

Once we have done this, we are going to learn how to recognize someone merit when we copy pictures from the internet.

When we paste a photo in our blog, you can click on the photo and appear some options, we will use the one that says "add a legend" and there we say who´s picture is that as you can see below!
